JDW Masters Recital: Songs and Dances of Death

Dear friends/family/colleagues and tutors, The favourite part of my course is looming nearer and nearer - recital exam fever! What with my recent ventures into Mussorgsky's dark and dramatic work, I thought I'd theme my entire programme in this way. You needn't have done much guesswork, as you can see from the title I've chosen. So! I invite you to join me in this rather sombre world with songs by Schubert, Berlioz and Mussorgsky. There will also be two songs by Polish pianist and composer Maciej Granat, who will incidentally be at the piano :-) I hope to many of your lovely and familiar faces there. J x x
