Scotland's oldest gay bar
Friendly and popular, Waterloo tends to be frequented by a mostly older crowd, though you'll find all types in this unpretentious pub. It's also one of the few gay bars outside of Merchant City.

      Characters, many characters
The music is so loud the speakers are rattling, the drag queen host breaks into the music constantly. The bar was crowded and we found that this place has it's own electic crowd. It reminded me of the movie KING OF HEARTS where they left the gates open to the insane asylum and the patients all escaped, and I think they all went to the Waterloo.

      Character in abundance
The Waterloo is off the city centre, close to Central train station. The place has a huge high ceiling and is more "Olde Worlde" but with a modern twist. Great music, Tvs and entertainment at the weekend. The Lane sauna is opposite so its handy for a pint after a session ! The staff are friendly and the prices are average. All in all a great venue.
